My Specialties
INDIVIDUALS
My specialty for individuals is an eclectic therapeutic approach to meet each client's unique needs through developing a thorough understanding of attachment histories and personal stories told by cognitive memory and the nervous system. Together, we will create corrective emotional experiences that help change the trajectory of current and future relationships.
TRAUMA THERAPY
My approach includes models such as Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented therapeutic model, and attachment therapies. I have also received basic and advanced certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, specific trauma therapy for helping clients suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and OCD.
COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPY
Involves a specialized map through Emotionally Focused Therapy that guides clients to identify negative cycles and create new interactional patterns that promote healthy bonds and attachments. Watch the video from Dr. Sue Johnson, leading relationship expert, clinical psychologist, researcher, author, and one of the primary creators of EFT.
